YQ203K is mainly used for polyurethane matte, glossy varnish, and color paint.

Performance advantages

YQ203K is a coconut oleic acid modified alkyd resin with fast drying speed, low odor, high hardness, and high gloss. Used for matte topcoat with good resistance to yellowing and excellent transparency.

Appearance: Slightly yellow viscous liquid

Solid content (%): 65 ± 2%

Viscosity (mpa. s, 25 ℃): 35000-55000mpa. s

Color, Fe Co ratio: ≤ 1#

Hydroxyl value (theoretical), mgKOH/g: 120mgKOH/g

Acid value, mgKOH/g : ≤15mgKOH/g 

Resin Compatibility

1. YQ203K has good compatibility with aromatic hydrocarbons, ether esters, ketones, ester solvents, and can be diluted with solvents such as toluene, xylene, butyl acetate, acetone, CAC, PMA, etc. Its solubility in fatty hydrocarbon solvents is limited. Please confirm through experiments before use.

2. YQ203K has extensive compatibility with PU curing agents and alkyd resins. Please conduct experiments to confirm before use.

Precautions

1. YQ203K product is stored in a 200L sealed round iron drum. Please confirm before use. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping away from heat and fire sources as much as possible;  

2. The storage period of YQ203K product is two years. If it exceeds the storage period, it should be inspected according to the quality standards of this product. If it meets the standards, it can still be used.
