YQ521 clean and highly transparent matte resin

Application Direction

YQ521 can be applied to high-end odorless PU matte furniture and decorative paint.

Performance advantages

YQ521 is a special material modified alkyd resin. Used for PU matte topcoat, it has the advantages of low odor, good fullness, high hardness, good hand feel, and excellent transparency of the recoated paint film.

Appearance: Light yellow transparent liquid

Solid content (%): 70 ± 2%

Viscosity (mpa. s, 25 ℃): 8000-20000 mpa. s

Color, Fe Co ratio: ≤ 3#

Hydroxyl value (theoretical), mgKOH/g: 135mgKOH/g

Acid value, mgKOH/g : ≤15mgKOH/g 

Resin Compatibility

1. YQ521 has good compatibility with aromatic hydrocarbons, ether esters, ketones, ester solvents, and can be diluted with solvents such as toluene, xylene, butyl acetate, acetone, CAC, PMA, etc. Its solubility in fatty hydrocarbon solvents is limited. Please confirm through experiments before use.

2. YQ521 has extensive compatibility with PU curing agents and alkyd resins. Please conduct experiments to confirm before use.

Precautions

1. YQ521 product is stored in a 200L sealed round iron drum. Please confirm before use. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping away from heat and fire sources as much as possible;  

2. The storage period of YQ521 product is two years. If it exceeds the storage period, it should be inspected according to the quality standards of this product. If it meets the standards, it can still be used.
